The Cauri collection pays tribute to the ancient local currency of Burkina Faso. These shells, used as a pre-money circulation instrument as early as the Shang dynasty era in China (1600-1046 BC), embody a wealth of history. Introduced by Arab and European sailors in the 10th century, they became commonplace in much of Africa and the Indian Ocean, even into the 20th century. The cowrie symbolizes wealth, protection and fertility. Each piece of jewelry in this collection evokes the beauty of transformation and the importance of connection. Handcrafted with care, these talismans carry within them the energy of the sea and the ancestors, offering an invitation to embrace our history and heritage.
Wearing a Cauri jewel, and listening to the gentle sound of the shells with each movement, connects us to this ancestral wisdom that reminds us that every step is a dance, every moment of our lives a precious transaction of love and sharing.

FIND YOUR FINGER CIRCUMFERENCE EASILY
To make sure your jewelry fits perfectly, here’s a simple tip to find out your finger size at home:
Take a piece of string or a strip of paper and wrap it loosely around your finger. Make a mark where the string or paper overlaps. Using a ruler, measure the distance between the two marks. Multiply this result by 10 to obtain your size in millimeters.
Example: If you get 5 cm, your size is 50. If you get 5.4 cm, your size is 54.
